Dr. Candace Brown has been our lead dentist in Mint Cedar Hill since day one. She is a native of Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Richardson ISD, where she first decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She went on to receive her B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University. While at Baylor, Dr. Brown was very active in the community and on campus serving as a member of the Baylor Nutrition Society, a Mission Waco Ministries Mentor, a Special Olympics Volunteer, a Waco Humane Society Volunteer, and the President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry during which time she served as an active member and President of the Student National Dental Association and was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award by the American Association of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr. Bruce Haggerty was born in Germany, but has been a resident of Dallas for many years, graduating from South Oak Cliff high school and more recently from Baylor College of Dentistry. The oldest of four children he was inspired at a very young age by his mother to enter the health field. Dr. Haggerty enjoys all aspects of dentistry (especially oral surgery and prosthodontics) and feels blessed with the opportunity to help his patients and their children look and feel better about themselves while also alleviating pain and suffering (both physically and emotionally
Dr. Christiana Harris was born and raised in Dallas, TX and her passion for dentistry began when she was only 8 years old. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. While in Nashville, she served as chaplain for her class and devotion leader in the Christian Dental Association. Upon graduation from Meharry, she received the Brassler USA Award of Excellence.
Dr. Harris is passionate about serving the underserved and making dental treatment accessible to all mankind. While on a dental mission trip to Port Au Prince, Haiti in 2012, Dr. Harris was inspired to serve those less fortunate within the United States and abroad.
Dr. Yoori Kim received her doctor of dental surgery degree from Seoul National University in 2008. After working at various private practices in Korea, Dr. Kim studied in the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Dr. Kim participated in an externship in the orthodontics program at UCLA’s Dental Hospital and she is a recipient of the Frank Lott Memorial Award. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Lacedric Tolliver was raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi then graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics/ Actuarial Science. He was accepted into Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After his matriculation at Tufts, Dr. Tolliver conducted research and participated in programs focused on providing dental care to underserved communities.
Dr. Tolliver believes that dentistry is an essential aspect of one’s overall health and is equally as important when it comes to a person expressing both confidence and charm. As a practitioner, he focuses on maintaining open communication and positive interaction between his patients and his dental team. He is passionate about serving his patients and works hard to provide them the very best of care.
